School Project for Afghan Girls

A Vital Initiative of OGEC

Overview:
The School Project for Afghan Girls is one of the most essential and impactful initiatives of OGEC, created to support Afghan girls who have been deprived of their basic right to education under the current regime. The Taliban’s ban on girls attending school has left many young girls without the opportunity to receive an education, severely limiting their future potential. We all understand that the mother plays a central role in shaping the family and raising the next generation. If girls are denied education, the cycle of ignorance continues, affecting not only them but also their families and communities.

Education is the foundation of any prosperous society. A country without education is a country without peace, stability, or progress. Our project is focused on breaking this cycle by providing Afghan girls with the opportunity to study, learn, and ultimately attend the Concours Preparation Project to pursue their dreams of higher education in medical and non-medical faculties. This program is designed to equip these girls with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and, when the time comes, to return to their communities, contribute to their country, and make a difference in the world.

Mission Statement:
To provide Afghan girls, who have been denied access to education, with the opportunity to study and acquire the knowledge and skills needed to attend university. Through this project, we aim to empower these girls to become future leaders, educators, and professionals who will contribute to their communities, rebuild their country, and improve humanity. We are committed to ensuring that education remains a pathway to a brighter future for every Afghan girl.

Vision Statement:
To create a world where every Afghan girl has access to education, regardless of the barriers imposed on them, enabling them to pursue their dreams, contribute to their communities, and help rebuild their country. Our vision is to see these girls grow into strong, educated women who will one day lead with knowledge, compassion, and determination, shaping a future where Afghanistan is a thriving, peaceful, and prosperous nation.

Goals:

  • Provide educational support to Afghan girls who have been deprived of schooling, helping them catch up on the education they missed.

  • Prepare these girls for the Concours Preparation Project, enabling them to pass entry exams and pursue higher education in their chosen fields.

  • Offer a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on key subjects necessary for university admission and academic success.

  • Empower Afghan girls to become educated, self-sufficient, and future leaders who will serve their communities and contribute to the reconstruction and progress of their country.

  • Build a network of empowered young women who will champion education, equality, and social change in Afghanistan.

Impact:
The School Project for Afghan Girls aims to change the trajectory of the lives of Afghan girls by offering them the education they deserve and enabling them to access higher learning and professional opportunities. By providing them with the tools and support to pass the Concours Preparation Project and pursue higher education, we are preparing the next generation of leaders, doctors, engineers, teachers, and social reformers. These girls will not only contribute to the rebuilding of their communities but will also play an integral role in shaping a peaceful, educated, and prosperous Afghanistan. This project serves as a cornerstone for a brighter future, both for Afghan girls and for the nation as a whole.
